Girls Rock! Indianapolis hosts fundraiser at Indy park

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — More than 2,000 people are expected to attend the second annual fundraiser for Girls Rock! Indianapolis.

The fundraiser festival will be held at Broad Ripple Park on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00. Kids ages 6 and under are free.

The festival features live music, games, vendors, food trucks, bounce houses, and an interactive exhibit from the Colts.

The money raised goes to help support Girls Rock! Indianapolis, a non-profit that hosts a summer camp for girls ages 8 to 16, as well as year-round programming to teach them self-esteem and self-expression through music education and mentoring.

Last year’s event raised $5,000.
