Kokomo Speedway holding event to celebrate the life of Bryan Clauson

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – Kokomo Speedway is holding an event to honor the life of Bryan Clauson. It’s a day for friends, family and fans to come together.

Clauson was a racer from Noblesville, Indiana. He sustained injures after a crash in Kansas and died in a hospital in Nebraska earlier this month.

Kokomo Speedway was one of his favorite tracks. In fact, he won a race there the night of the Indianapolis 500, just hours after competing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

According to a release, Wednesday will be a day full of stories and memories, as well as races and live music.

Admission is free to the stands during the entire day and night.

The celebration of life starts at 1 p.m. and events continue through the evening.
