Colts to help in tornado relief efforts

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Colts have made a pledge Thursday to help victims across the state who were affected by Wednesday’s tornadoes.

Among the scheduled activities and donation events:

  • Colts players, cheerleaders and staff to visit families at the Red Cross shelter in Kokomo.
  • Financial support for the American Red Cross and United Way of Howard County.
  • The Colts social media will be used to encourage donations to Red Cross and United Way of Howard County.
  • Proceeds from a 50/50 raffle from Saturday’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles will be used to help American Red Cross and other service charities.

If you’d like to personally help in the relief efforts in Howard County, you can donate through the United Way of Howard County here.
