Soldier arrested after active shooter incident at Fort Campbell
FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (WKRN) – A soldier was arrested after an active shooter incident on Fort Campbell’s base Thursday.
Army officials told WKRN-TV the post is secure and there is no danger to the community.
One soldier was arrested by military police. Neither his name nor changes have been released at this time.
No one was injured in the incident and the gates remain open.
Additional information is expected to be released later Thursday.
