7 stolen trucks found at Indy chop shop

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana State Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say they’ve recovered seven Ford pickup trucks in Indianapolis as part of an auto theft task force.

The seven trucks were recently stolen from three different counties. The trucks were found in a chop shop in an abandoned warehouse in the 1500 block of East Dudley Drive on the city’s south east side on Wednesday.

The trucks recovered were six Ford F-250s and a F-350. Police say the trucks were found in various condition of disrepair and several parts were taken from the vehicles. The trucks were reported missing from Monroe, Marion and Hendricks counties.

No arrests have been made as of Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-8477.
