Indianapolis Wine Festival brings more than 175 wines to Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Wine lovers, rejoice! The inaugural Indianapolis wine festival begins this weekend.

The festival runs Aug. 26 and 27 at the American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis.

According to the release, festival-goers will be able to sample more than 175 wines from across the world.

Food will also be available for purchase.

There are two ticket options for the festival.

  • Adult wine tasting ticket: $32 in advance, $40 at the gate. The ticket includes 20 wine tastings, wine seminars, musical entertainment, free wine glass and discounted wine available for purchase.
  • Designated driver ticket: $15, it includes two non-alcoholic drinks and all other perks of the wine tasting ticket.
