1 dead in Shelby County hit-and-run
SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A person has died after a hit-and-run crash in Shelby County late Monday night.
It happened around 10 p.m. in the 9500 block of S. State Road 9 in Flat Rock, according to emergency dispatch.
After arriving on scene, a white male was discovered deceased from massive trauma.
He has been identified as 20-year-old Nathan Turner of Shelbyville.
Police said that it appears that Turner fell out of a moving vehicle being driven by 29-year-old Adam Nordhoff of Hope, Indiana.
Police do not have a description of the striking vehicle. However, police said it appears that the vehicle was traveling northbound from the scene of the accident.
