Notre Dame football players appear in court

FULTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Three Notre Dame football players who were arrested earlier this month made their first court appearance Tuesday.

Max Redfield,Te’von Coney and Kevin Stepherson pleaded not guilty to several charges including possession of marijuana and possession of a handgun without a license.

Two other players waived their initial hearings.

Body cam video shows the players’ arrests. It also shows officers talking with the players, as well as some players being taken away in cars.

The three players are scheduled to return to court in October.
