INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A release sent by Franklin Central High School confirmed Wednesday that a part of the school has bed bugs.

According to the release, bed bugs were found in a small area in the high school.

The school said not many students come in contact with the area, and those that do were checked for bed bugs along with their belongings. No bed bugs were found with those students.

In addition, the school said bed bugs were not found anywhere else in the building.

They say “this is a nuisance and not a medical or public health matter.”
