Suspect who stabbed woman at laundromat wanted by IMPD

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police in Indianapolis need help finding a man who stabbed a woman at an east side laundromat.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers say it happened in the 6100 block of E. 38th Street on Aug. 30 just before 8:45 p.m. At the scene officers found a woman who had been stabbed in her right arm.

The victim was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

After speaking with the victim police found that the suspect rode to the laundromat on a bike that was orange and red in color. The knife had a orange colored sheeth. Detectives were able to obtain surveillance video of the suspect.
