COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) –The discovery of bed bugs has resulted in the temporary closure of a Cummins Inc. office building.

According to WISH-TV’s partners at The Republicthe bed bugs were discovered approximately two weeks ago at the Cummins Inc. General Office Building. Cummins spokesman Jon Mills said the building is located at 1460 N. National Road, next to Cummins’ Fuel Systems plant.

Steps to eliminate the bed bugs include hiring a professional pest-control firm according to Mills.

“We quickly had the area where the bed bugs were identified treated and evacuated,” Mills said. “We fumigated the entire office this past weekend.”
