(WISH) – Get ready for lower gas prices well into the fall, and some say every weekend should be a three-day weekend.

Gas prices could take a big drop between now and Halloween.

Gas Buddy said the average post labor day price drop is 30 cents per gallon. That puts the national average below $2 per gallon.

In Central Indiana, AAA said the current average for regular unleaded is $2.19 per gallon.

In other business headlines, we just came off a three-day weekend for many Americans workers. Some said every week should be like that.

Some psychologists said workers would be more productive. Their lab studies reported in Business Insider that people can commit themselves to only four or five hours of concentrated work at a time before they stop getting things done. Pass the peak performance level, output tends to flatline, or sometimes even suffer.
