INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Three people were caught after a police chase early Thursday morning in Fountain Square.

Police say the incident happened with an attempted traffic stop. They did not say what the traffic stop was for.

The driver didn’t stop after the officer attempted to pull him over.

Two people, a man and a woman, got out of the car to run. They were apprehended by police.

Police found their car abandoned in a parking lot behind the Lilly Boys and Girls Club.

The car swiped a gas meter and bent it. Fire officials turned off the line as a precaution.

The officers deployed a K-9 unit and eventually a third person was caught.

Police only took one person into custody after the chase.

There were no injuries reported.
