High water reported in Bloomington; flash flood warning issued

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — Heavy rainfall has resulted in flooding in Bloomington.

Officers with the Bloomington Police Department confirmed just before 9:30 p.m. that the city had experienced some flooding and had high water in places.

BPD believes that four cars had been reported as stalled.

A flash flood warning has been issued for Monroe County until 12:15 a.m. Northern Greene County is also under a flash flood warning.

Indiana University in Bloomington took to Twitter to warn students about the high water.
