INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — WISH-TV is teaming up with the Indianapolis Public Safety Foundation to give people a glimpse into the lives of people who serve and protect our city.

The Frontline Experience is Saturday, September 10 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The goal of it is to allow for citizens to get to know the police officers, firefighters and EMS workers who serve the community.

Along with dinner, attendees get a chance to get a first-hand experience by taking part in firearms training and climbing a 100 foot fire engine ladder. The main sponsor of the event is law firm Ice Miller.

“We believe that a safe city is necessary for the economic growth of businesses and the safety of our citizens, community involvement is a primary tenant of the work of our attorneys and employees.” Melissa Proffitt with Ice Miller said

Tickets are still available and are $200. More than 500 people will be there.

The event will be hosted by WISH-TV’s Lori Wilson and Phil Sanchez.
