United Airlines reveals where it gets its weather forecast

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The TSA lines went way down by the end of the summer, and you may be surprised at where United Airlines gets its weather forecast.

The government said all of the work it did reduced wait times for less than 30 minutes for most passengers.

Most waited less than 15 minutes to go through security.

The government said much of that success was due to increased enrollment in the pre-check program.

In other business headlines, United Airlines CEO said it is looking to the farmers almanac to help prepare for winter.

The Associated Press quotes a United spokesperson who said they also consult other weather sources.

By the way, the farmers almanac predicts a cold and snowy winter in the Midwest.
