Former Colts linebacker teaming up with local schools to raise money for school supplies

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A former linebacker of the Indianapolis Colts is teaming up with local schools to raise money for kids to have what they need in school.

Gary Brackett is teaming up with Relationship Soup and school officials to hold a fundraiser for kids who may have trouble affording supplies.

Brackett is hoping to raise money for the following items:

  • Backpacks
  • Paper
  • Pencils
  • Undergarments
  • Toiletries
  • Uniforms
  • Healthy snacks

The fundraiser will benefit kids at the James Whitcomb Riley School.

It will be at Georgia Reese’s on East Washington Street by the circle from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday.
