Crews respond to southwest side fire
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Crews responded to a fire on the city’s southwest side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, crews arrived on scene in the 1100 block of South Belmont Avenue just after 6:15 a.m.
Crews were able to get the fire at the double residence under control around 6:30 a.m.
IFD said all residents were out of the structure before crews arrived on scene.
Damages have been estimated at $60,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
