Hogsett announces plan to clean up trash in east side neighborhood

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett announced a plan to help clean up trash in an east side neighborhood.

He said Tuesday that several members of the Grace Tuxedo Park neighborhood have repeatedly complained about the amount of trash on the streets, alleys and properties.

Hogsett announced a trash sweet to address illegal dumping and engage those in the community to help with cleanup.

The mayor added that the neighborhood would be used as a test ground to later address other neighborhoods dealing with trash issues.
