NASA releases new pictures of rock formations on Mars
(WISH) – NASA has released new pictures from Mars. They show rock formations, hills and plateaus.
The images were taken by NASA’s Curiosity Rover last Thursday near “Mount Sharp,” which formed billions of years ago.
According to CNN, one NASA scientist said these formations are eroded sandstone, which was originally deposited by winds.
More pictures are on the way.
