Indiana attorneys holding educational summit on drug abuse in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A group of Indiana attorneys is hoping to shed light on the issue of drug abuse in the state.

The Association of Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys is holding an education summit called “A closer look at marijuana and synthetic drugs.”

The summit is Thursday starting at 8 a.m. and runs until 4:30 p.m.It will be at the Indiana Historical Society.

Leaders from law enforcement, a Purdue professor and a doctor from the Poison Control Center are all scheduled to speak Thursday on the drug epidemic.
