Police release identities of two men found dead in alley on far east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IMPD homicide detectives have identified the two victims found dead in an alley Wednesday morning.

Police have identified the victims as 23-year-old Mack Taylor and 24-year-old Alexander Brown, both from Indianapolis.

According to police, officers were called to the 3000 block of North Gladstone Avenue just after 11 a.m. after blood was found in the residence. Family members began searching the area and discovered two men’s bodies in an alley in the 2900 block of Gladstone Avenue just before 1:30 p.m.

Detectives believe that both scenes 3000 block of Gladstone Avenue and 2900 block of Colorado are linked together.

At this time police are not releasing information about a possible killer.

IMPD said these deaths bring the city up to 106 homicides this year.
