Indy company pledges to create 400 jobs

(WISH) – An Indianapolis company pledges to create 400 jobs, and the AG Department is testing online food stamps.

Knowledge Services, an information technology company, announced plans Thursday to grow its Indianapolis headquarters by adding 400 new employees by 2019.

The company provides cloud software and services to organizations, government and businesses.

Knowledge Services has continued to outpace its job creation goals and has increased its Indiana employment by 70 percent in the last three years, according to the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

In other business headlines, starting next summer Americans on Food Stamps may be able to buy their groceries online.

The AG Department will test the service and work out the kinks.

The USDA is asking online grocery retailers to participate in the program.
