4 arrested for breaking into house connected to double homicide

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Four people have been taken into custody after breaking into a residence connected to a double homicide.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the break-in occurred just after 9:30 Saturday morning at a residence in the 3000 block of Gladstone Avenue.

Police responded to the scene after initially receiving calls about suspects attempting to break into the house that was the site of a double homicide only days earlier.

After arriving on scene, police discovered three suspects, armed and wearing all black, near the residence carrying what was thought to be stolen property.

According to police, those three suspects were apprehended without incident.  A fourth suspect, who was attempting to walk away from the scene unnoticed, was also arrested.

The identities of those arrested have yet to be released.
