Woman sentenced for breaking into, stealing from senior living communities

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A woman has been sentenced for breaking into and stealing from senior living communities.

According to the Marion County Prosecutors Office, Nickelle Rodgers will serve four years on home detention with GPS monitoring.  The home detention will then be followed by four years probation.

Rodgers pleaded guilty to multiple counts of burglary in August after posing as healthcare worker to gain access into senior living communities.  Rodgers would then steal jewelry, prescription drugs and money from the residents.

She was initially arrested and charged in July of this year.
