INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward following an Indianapolis gun theft.

According to the ATF, around 3 a.m. Tuesday, two individuals broke into the Indy Trading Post located in the 2800 block of South Madison Avenue.

Authorities said the two got into the business by running a stolen vehicle through the side of the building.  In all, 19 guns are thought to have been stolen, 17 handguns and two long guns.

The ATF is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for the theft. Additionally, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, a trade association for the firearms industry, has also put up a $5,000 reward for information that leads to those involved in police custody.
