Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra to host free concert for emerging composers

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A national program of the American Composers Orchestra is bringing its competition to Indianapolis this weekend.

The event, called EarShot, gives emerging composers an opportunity to develop their works with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra.

The concert is free and open to the public. It’s being held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Butler University’s Howard L. Schrott Center for the Arts at 610 West 46th Street.

Event organizer Elaine Eckhart spoke with Dave Barras on 24-Hour News 8 at Noon.
