INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Thousands of runners and walkers will gather at City Market this Saturday to create awareness of ovarian cancer and to support ovarian cancer survivors and caregivers.  The Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer Run/Walk is held annually by Ovar’coming Together. The event is in its 18th year and serves to celebrate, remember and honor women affected by ovarian cancer.

The event lets participants choose from a 1-mile walk, a 5K walk, a 5K competitive run and a Zumba Workout.  Event festivities include entertainment, guest speakers, a TEAL Market, a special Survivors Tent, educational booths and more! The event always takes place on the last Saturday of each September to wrap up Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
