Noblesville schools released early due to water main break

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A water main break has caused to schools in Noblesville to be released early.

Noblesville High School and East Middle School students were released around noon on Thursday.

Officials have announced Noblesville High School will remain closed for Friday, but the middle school will be open.

A spokeswoman with Noblesville schools said the water man break is on Field Drive.

“Due to the water situation, the schools will not be safe for students. Buses are currently en route and we have notified impacted parents,” said Marnie Cooke, Director of Marketing and Communication with Noblesville Schools.

The Noblesville Fire Department is asking people to avoid the area while the Indiana American Water Company works to fix the issue.
