Reports: Brad Pitt investigated for child abuse
(WISH) — We may now know the reason behind Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s split.
Two entertainment news outlets say Pitt is under investigation for child abuse.
Reports by People Magazine and TMZ claim Pitt got drunk on a flight last Wednesday with his wife and children and was verbally and physically abusive to them.
He continued to rant after the plane landed, TMZ reports.
Neither People nor TMZ names their sources for the information.
“He (Pitt) takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children,” a source tells People. “It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”
News of the couple’s divorce broke Tuesday.
