Man stabbed at gas station on near east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police say a fight turned into a stabbing at a near east side gas station Friday morning.

Officers were called to Admiral gas station at 1435 East Washington Street just before 8:45 a.m. on report of a fight between multiple people.

A man was found stabbed in the back more than once, according to police. He was taken to Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition.

Officers questioned witnesses, but a suspect has not been identified.
