Megabus and semi crash slows I-65 South in Tippecanoe Co.

TIPPECANOE CO., Ind (WLFI) – A crash involving a semi and a megabus has stalled traffic on southbound Interstate 65.

Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Deputies say it happened near the 161 mile marker. That’s about 3 miles north of the State Road 28 exit.

24-Hour News 8’s sister station, WLFI, has a crew on scene, traffic is at a standstill up to three miles away from the scene of the crash.

Deputies could not said if anyone was injured or if the interstate was shut down.

Drivers headed south are asked to avoid the area and exit at State Road 28, head west, turn left on U.S. 52 and merge back onto I-65 S.
