Two dead in two separate overnight car crashes
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Authorities are looking into the cause of two separate overnight car crashes that have left two people dead.
The first occurred around 2:15 a.m. Sunday morning when a Buick struck a Ford Mustang on Rockville Road near the I-465 ramp. Authorities said that a male passenger inside the Mustang was killed as a result of the crash.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, and both drivers have been taken in for blood testing and were also treated at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital.
The second occurred around 2:57 a.m. Sunday morning at Brookville Road and South Pasadena Street when a van struck a curb and then hit a guard rail. This caused the vehicle to flip, which ejected and killed the driver.
