IMPD seek help in identifying suspect in bank robbery

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a bank robbery on the city’s southeast side.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the Key Bank located in the 4600 block of South Emerson Avenue was robbed Monday morning just after 10:30.

Police said a white male entered the banking establishment and slid a teller a note. The suspect then fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect has been described as a white male standing 5’6″, who was wearing gray sweat pants, a clear poncho, a dark-colored baseball cap and a red t-shirt over a blue sweatshirt at the time of incident.
