Terre Haute man appears in court for charges of incest, sexual misconduct with minor
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Terre Haute man is facing charges for incest and sexual misconduct with a minor.
40-year-old Jamoka Smith was in court Wednesday morning.
According to court documents, police responded to Regional Hospital back in March to investigate a battery that occurred on a 3-year-old.
The mother of the child, who is 19-years-old, said that she and Smith had been arguing. Police learned that Smith is not only the father of the 19-year-old mother, but he is also the father of the 3-year-old.
DNA samples also confirm that Smith is the father of another child with his biological daughter.
Smith is being held on a $60,000 bond.
