Family Fun After Dark in Indy

Katy Mann and her team from Indywithkids.com have worked hard to out together a list of Family Fun After Dark in Indy. Just in time for fall break, Katy is here to share some of her favorite ideas:

Holliday Park is offering their Hauntless Halloween program October 20 – 22nd. This program includes a hike by candle light, friendly magical creatures, and a campfire. Register early, because this popular event sells out every year!

They also continue to host Friday Night Campfires monthly- tonight (Sept 30) the theme is fossils, and November’s theme is Constellations. Preregistration is required.

Holland Park in Fishers is inviting families to get outside to solve a mystery in the park on the evening of October 25th. Preregister to join the sleuthing fun!

Enjoy looking at the stars? Join the Indiana Astronomical Society for an evening under the stars at McCloud Nature Park in North Salem (Hendricks County). Learn about the night sky in a short presentation, then venture outside if it’s clear. If your stargazer is itching to use his or her own telescope, bring it along! Don’t have one? No problem, they will teach you how to use theirs. www.hendrickscountyparks.org/events/icalrepeat.detail/2016/10/08/577/-/astronomy

McCloud Nature Park will also be hosting a Campfire on October 29th- register to join in the fun! Stories will be told, and s’mores will be made: www.hendrickscountyparks.org/events/icalrepeat.detail/2016/10/29/612/-/campfire-stories
