Indy Veterans Court holding first graduation ceremony

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Veterans Court is holding its first graduation ceremony Friday morning.

The ceremony will be in the auditorium of the Indiana World War Memorial located at 431 North Meridian Street in Indianapolis.

Those attending include:

  • Veterans
  • Indiana Senator Jim Banks
  • Navy veteran who serviced in Afghanistan
  • Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steve David

The public is also invited to recognize and thank the first graduate, as well as veterans who will be promoted within the IVC program.

There is a reception following the graduation ceremony.

The event is from 11 a.m. to noon Friday.
