3-vehicle crash causes minor injuries to 2 people

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A three-vehicle crash injured two people on Saturday.

According to police, the crash happened in front of Bush’s Market located at 7301 East 25th Street.

A Ford350, driven by 67-year-old Terri Smith of Columbus, was stopped in traffic in the eastbound lane waiting to turn into Bush Creek Stables. A Chevrolet Trail Blazer, driven by 49-year-old Donna McDonley, was slowing down behind Smith when she was rear-ended by a third vehicle driven by 69-year-old Paul Matney.

The crash caused Matney to drive off the roadway and into a corn field.

McDonley and Matney both sustained minor injuries. They were both treated and released at the scene by medics.
