SHERIDAN, Ind. (WISH) — A 17-year-old at the center of an Amber Alert on Monday night was found safe, according to police.
Madison Lloyd was located in Terre Haute Indiana. Lloyd was reported missing by the Sheridan Police Department around 8 p.m. Police said she was with an escapee from Hancock County Jail named Dustin Fisher. She was believed to be in extreme danger.
According to a release, Terre Haute police were called by a gas station attendant who sighted the suspect and Lloyd. Police were able to locate the subjects just north of Honey Creek Mall.
Fisher was taken into custody on a warrant for the outstanding escape from the Hancock County Jail.
