INDIANAPOLIS (WISH/AP) – The 2016 Verizon IndyCar series winner Simon Pagenaud stopped by Daybreak to talk about his win and upcoming event in Indianapolis.

Pagenaud is number 22 on team Penske and was born in France. He lived in Indianapolis for nine years before moving to North Carolina.

On Sept. 18 Pagenaud helped Penske continue their 50 year celebration by bringing home another championship.
