Police search for suspect possibly related to several area thefts

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Detectives are searching for a suspect who is wanted for fraud and theft.

Police say the suspect went into a Family Dollar at 8083 Madison Avenue and stole an employee’s purse from the stockroom. The suspect then took the cards and made purchases with them.

Police say he might be responsible for several other thefts in Indianapolis in the area of West 86th Street.
