FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – The global anti-human trafficking organization, A21, brought The Walk For Freedom to Fishers on Saturday morning.
According to a release, the walk brings awareness to the 27 million men, women and children who are still involved in human trafficking today.
The organization had 200 walks in 28 countries last year. This year, the goal is to raise $1 million to restore the lives of 2,000 human trafficking survivors.
Those involved met on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Peterson’s Restaurant located at 7690 East 96th Street in Fishers. The event was from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
