IMPD releases composite sketch for person of interest in July murder

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released a composite sketch of a person of interest in July shooting death on Friday.

Police say 46-year-old Ryan Goss was shot and killed on the northwest side on July 30. The shooting happened in the 5700 block of N. High School Road around 5:15 p.m.

WISH-TV spoke to Goss’ wife, Luci Goss. She says she and her husband of 20 years were just sitting on the porch, around 5:00 in the evening when the suspect ran past, spraying bullets at them. She says she performed CPR, but it was too late. Goss was pronounced dead at the scene. He leaves behind two young children.

“He was a loving son, a loving father, loving husband adn we’re all missing him a lot,” she said.

Anyone with information is urged to share it with Crime Stoppers of Indiana at 317-262-TIPS (8477). There is a $1,000 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
