Infant bathtub sling being recalled due to drowning risks

(WISH) – A baby sling used to help parents give kids a bath is on the recall list.

Summer Infant said it’s infant bathtub sling is missing a white plastic clip that connects the headrest area of the fabric to the frame.

The consumer product safety commission said there have been 91 reports of the slings detaching and 11 reports of babies hitting their heads in the fall.

So far, there have been no reports of any serious injuries or drownings.

Summer Infant said parents should stop using the slings immediately and contact the company for a replacement.CNN contributed to this story.
