WISH-TV’s Drew Blair taking part in IRONMAN Triathlon
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One of the regular faces you see each morning on Daybreak is doing something pretty remarkable this weekend.
On Sunday, 24-Hour News 8’s Drew Blair will be doing something a few of us would never dream of attempting, an IRONMAN Triathlon.
She’ll be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky for the race.
If you don’t know what that entails, it’s the ultimate triathlon distance of 140.6 miles.
Here is a break down of what 140.6 miles looks like:
- Swimming 2.4 miles in the Ohio River
- Biking 112 miles through Louisville and into Oldham County, Ky.
- Finishing 26.2 miles running through Louisville
She will do all of this in one day.
