INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Six operating rooms at Community Hospital North have been suspended from use due to discoloration on the ceiling tiles and walls.

The rooms will not be used while air quality tests are conducted.

A statement from the health network said the discoloration was in the operating room corridor area.

“Community is committed to ensuring the safety of our patients and their families, our employees and our physicians. Community voluntarily made the decision to suspend use of the impacted operating rooms until tests confirm that any potential safety issue is resolved,” the statement said.
