Community leaders to discuss police matters to build community in Indy
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – People at Ivy Tech Community College will be talking with police on Monday, hoping to build the community in Indianapolis.
The college said the Unity Through Dialogue event will feature leaders from around Indianapolis leading a discussion on race, policing and current events.
Some of the people coming include:
- University’s President, Sue Ellspermann
- IMPD Chief Troy Riggs
- Director of the Muslim Alliance of Indiana, Lindsey Mintz
The discussion will be at the Ivy Tech Community College Fall Creek Center Monday at 4 p.m.
