Police investigating armed robbery at a Lafayette VP

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Lafayette Village Pantry from over the weekend.

Lafayette police responded to the Village Pantry on Brady Lane on Saturday, just after 3:30 a.m., on a report on an armed robbery. When officers arrived, they spoke with the clerk who said the man showed a weapon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses told police the man took off north toward Pheasant Run Apartments.

The subject remains at-large.

No one was injured in the incident.
