Area early voting locations announced

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 2016 General Election is less than a month away.

However, for those area residents who want to make their voices heard, but Tuesday, November 8 may not be convenient, voting early is an option.

Early voting in the state of Indiana begins Wednesday, October 12.

Below are a number of early voting locations:

Boone County
Boone County Courthouse- 212 Courthouse Sq, Lebanon

Blackford County
Blackford County Courthouse- 110 W Washington Street, Hartford City
The following location is open Oct. 29 & Nov. 8:
Montpelier Civic Center- 339 S Main Street, Montpelier

Grant County
Grant County Courthouse- 101 E 4th Street, Marion

Hamilton County
Judicial Center- 1 N 8th Street, Noblesville
The following two locations available starting Oct. 19
Carmel Public Library- 55 4th Ave SE, Carmel
Fishers City Hall- 1 Municipal Drive, Fishers

Howard County
Howard County Government Center- 104 N Buckeye Street, Kokomo
The following locations are open eight days prior to Nov. 8
Carver Community Center- 1030 N Purdum Street, Kokomo
Chapel Hill Church- 2600 W Alto Road, Kokomo
Eastern Performing Arts- 421 S Harrison Street, Greentown
Indiana Wesleyan University- 1916 E Markland Ave, Kokomo
