Greenwood man arrested for child molestation

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Greenwood have arrested a man for child molestation.

According to the Greenwood Police Department, 58-year-old Jose Colon was taken into custody at his Greenwood residence Tuesday.

Police said Colon’s arrest comes as the result of an investigation after initially receiving a complaint in late May.

The complaint alleged that Colon had improper sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl at his Greenwood apartment.

Colon is currently being held in the Johnson County Jail on $40,000 bond.

He faces a preliminary charge of felony child molest.
